Significance/Notes:

The operations of D445 (the VC battalion) in the area were seriously disrupted. Large enemy caches of food, equipment, and weapons/ammo were found and confiscated. 8RAR was awarded the Republic of Vietnam’s Meritorious Unit Commendation, including the Cross of Gallantry, for its actions during this operation.
